FINANCIAL WELLNESS & CALM

Money peace is wellness peace: The silent stress of finances is a massive drain on your mental health and contributes significantly to overwhelm and burnout. You don't have to be an expert to find financial wellness. Taking small, intentional steps to gain clarity about your money removes the emotional fog and restores a sense of control over your future. This week, we're treating your budget like a self-care tool.

The 15-Minute Money Date: Schedule 15 minutes this week (just 15!) to look at one financial area—check your savings balance, pay one bill, or review one recurring subscription. Do this with a cup of tea in a calm setting. This micro-commitment reduces avoidance and builds confidence. If you’ve ever felt depleted, struggling to manage your energy or your mood, this newsletter issue is your gentle but firm reminder: self-care starts not with a grand gesture, but with what you choose to put on your plate.

My Personal Experience With Money:

Obviously, 15 minutes a week is not going to cut it if you’re a woman that handles all-things-financial for your household. Previously, I did not have a financial mindset at all and just avoided even thinking about it. I took care of my finances “at - will”, following no rules and I was calm about it. I had no plan, budget, or intentional investments and I thought that I was doing well. The truth is that I only stayed afloat because I had a pretty good paycheck and usually spent less than I earned (by mistake). 😉

However - the story gets better - a few years ago, I joined a very powerful program called Dow Janes. This program set me on the right track. I become much better, and in some ways proficient, in budgeting, cutting expenses, planning, investing, paying off credit card debts, avoiding debts - and all the things!

Mindful Minis

Focus Fuel Seeds

A tablespoon of chia seeds mixed with water or yogurt is a simple, affordable way to get fiber and healthy fats, fueling your focus for those important planning sessions.

Password Manager Peace Use a password manager tool. Off-loading the mental stress of remem-bering every single password and/or keeping the place you wrote them down secret, is a huge relief for the mental load.

Neck Tension Eraser

Gently rub your temples and the back of your neck with your fingertips. This simple massage can help ,alleviate tension headaches and relax your mind after a long day of screen time.
