ENERGY AUDIT

Stop spending, start saving (energy): You don't need more time; you need more energy. We often waste precious mental and emotional resources on things that don't matter—endless decision-making, worrying about minor issues, or engaging in draining conversations. Learning to identify these energy leaks is the first step in burnout recovery and boosting your daily stamina.

Using this simple list to map your energy. The 'Two-Column List': Draw a line down a piece of paper. On the left, list things that give you energy (e.g., a quiet walk, listening to music). On the right, list things that drain your energy (e.g., checking email late, clutter). Commit to reducing one drain and increasing one source this week.

Mindful Minis

Protein Swap

Swap out your standard chips or crackers for a handful of roasted chickpeas. They are high in protein and fiber, giving you sustained energy rather than a blood sugar spike.

No Charging

Designate a ‘Charging Station’ outside of your bedroom. This simple physical boundary prevents doom-scrolling and ensure your sleep space is truly for rest.

Arm Circles

Do 10 simple arm circles forward and 10 backward. This is a quick way to release shoulder tension that accumulates from emotional stress and desk work.

I am an excellent manager of my personal energy. I choose to invest my resources only in things that align with my well-being, and I am empowered to stop my energy drains.

Prayer

Lord, make me an excellent manager of my personal energy. Empower me to choose to invest my resources only in things that align with my well-being and to stop my energy drains.
